Vacation - Rest Time

The PMC was fantastic. The first day, 110 miles from Sturbridge to Bourne, MA was great. I rode strong and felt great right to the end. I loved meeting Kayleigh, our Pedal Partner. She was just beautiful, and incredibly inspiring. The second day, 79 miles from Bourne to Provincetown, also went extremely well. The only holdup was when I got a flat about 40 miles into the ride, but I quickly repaired it and we were on our way again.

So, now I'm off on a much needed vacation to Vermont. I'll be back Saturday, and I expect the Sox to have won every game from now until then.

The Jimmy Fund is one of my favorites. I donated $100 to my boss, who rode in it - because I believe in the cause, of course, not because he's my boss. Good for you, Rooster! Heavy karma points on your side, buddy!

I agree...good for you! Hey Sul! My sister passed away from leukemia long ago, and the Jimmy Fund has always been close to my heart. Rooster, have a great vacation, and so far, so good for our Sox.

Hey guys, I'm back!!!

Thank you all for the nice words. Vermont was nice, but we got some lousy weather every day, which ruined a lot of plans. But, we still had a nice time - always fun to just get away.

Peter, hate to hear that about you sister. I also lost my younger sister to cancer when she was only 27 years old. She is why I started riding in the PMC 4 years ago.

Sul, thanks for supporting the Jimmy Fund, it is a great cause!
